Overview

Digital Landlord is a Nigerian real estate company focused on property development, recreational assets and short-let investment models. Its portfolio connects physical development with an operating strategy designed around tourism, hospitality and recurring rental revenue.

DigitalTouch delivered the public-facing digital experience for the company. The result is more than a corporate website: it is an investment communication platform that helps prospective partners understand the projects, participation models, development journey and broader strategy behind the portfolio.

Explaining an unfamiliar investment proposition

Digital Landlord does not present property as a simple catalogue of homes for sale. Its proposition combines land acquisition, construction, collective participation, capital appreciation and ongoing revenue from short-let or recreational use.

That model creates a significant communication challenge. A visitor needs to understand not only what is being built, but also how a project is intended to generate value, where it is located, what stage it has reached and what form of participation is available.

The website therefore had to answer a sequence of investor questions:

  • What is the project and where is it located?
  • What makes the development commercially distinctive?
  • How much capital does it require?
  • What progress has already been made?
  • What is the proposed investment or ownership model?
  • Which documents and supporting materials are available?
  • How can a prospective partner start a conversation?

Organizing these answers into a readable journey makes a complex proposition easier to evaluate without pretending that real estate investment is simple or risk-free.

Projects presented as structured opportunities

Each development needed a consistent framework that would allow visitors to compare opportunities without flattening their differences. A luxury ocean-view tower, a vacation-home community and a recreational destination have different audiences, economics and timelines, but they still need a shared presentation language.

The platform brings together project imagery, location, development description, funding status, project cost, future-value projections, proposed returns and downloadable brochures. Reusable structures help investors scan the portfolio while giving individual projects enough room to communicate their own story.

This approach transforms the portfolio from a gallery into a decision-support experience. Visitors can move from a high-level opportunity to more detailed project material without losing context.

Designing for financial clarity

Real estate investment pages often contain several currencies, percentages, time horizons and forms of value. If these elements compete visually, the user may remember an attractive headline while missing the assumptions behind it.

The interface therefore relies on strong information hierarchy. Funding progress, minimum participation, project cost, projected value and return figures need to be visually distinct but clearly related to the same opportunity.

Labels and supporting context are especially important. The website presents financial figures supplied by Digital Landlord; DigitalTouch’s role was to make that information understandable and navigable, not to validate or guarantee investment performance.

Building trust across distance

A significant part of Digital Landlord’s audience includes Nigerians in the diaspora. These visitors may be evaluating property from another country and may not be able to inspect every development in person before making initial contact.

For that audience, the digital experience carries additional responsibility. Project progress, company history, development milestones, documentation and clear contact paths all contribute to confidence. The platform needs to provide enough evidence for a visitor to continue due diligence while avoiding the tone of a short-lived promotional campaign.

Consistent branding and structured content help present the company as an ongoing development and operating business. A visible timeline connects current projects with earlier milestones and gives the portfolio a sense of continuity.

Connecting investment with a wider ecosystem

Digital Landlord’s strategy is closely connected to recreational real estate and short-let operations. Projects such as Giwa Garden City are positioned alongside tourism destinations, while other properties are designed around hospitality demand and recurring rental activity.

The website needed to communicate these relationships without merging distinct brands into one undifferentiated product. Digital Landlord remains the investment and development platform, while properties and destinations such as Giwa Gardens retain their own identities and customer experiences.

This ecosystem view helps investors understand that the proposition extends beyond construction. The company presents development, ownership and post-completion operations as parts of one longer value chain.

Content that supports considered decisions

Property investment rarely happens in a single website session. Prospective partners may return several times, compare opportunities, download a brochure, review the company’s history or discuss the project with advisers.

The platform supports that longer journey through several content types:

  • detailed project presentations;
  • portfolio and participation models;
  • development timelines and progress updates;
  • downloadable brochures;
  • company background and track record;
  • reports, press coverage and market insights;
  • direct contact paths for further discussion.

Together, these elements allow the website to serve both initial discovery and deeper evaluation.

Responsive experience for local and international audiences

Investors may discover an opportunity through social media, a message, an event or a direct recommendation. Many will first open the website on a mobile device, even if they later review detailed documentation on a larger screen.

The responsive experience therefore needed to preserve the hierarchy of project information on smaller displays. Key facts, funding indicators, calls to action and supporting content had to remain legible without turning data-heavy pages into an exhausting vertical list.

The design balances aspirational property imagery with practical information. Visual appeal establishes the ambition of the developments, while structured data and content provide the substance required for further consideration.

DigitalTouch’s role

DigitalTouch delivered UX/UI and public digital platform work for Digital Landlord. The engagement focused on translating the company’s real estate strategy and portfolio into a coherent online product.

The work included:

  • information architecture for projects and investment models;
  • UX/UI for data-rich property presentations;
  • responsive public-facing layouts;
  • structured funding and project information;
  • company history and portfolio storytelling;
  • editorial, report and update content patterns;
  • brochure and enquiry pathways;
  • connections between Digital Landlord and related destinations.

The exact implementation stack has not yet been confirmed and is therefore deliberately omitted. The case concentrates on the verified digital experience rather than filling the technology list with assumptions.

Digital Landlord today

The current platform presents major projects including The Carnelian and Giwa Garden City, alongside the company’s broader portfolio history and investment approach. Figures relating to funding, valuation, occupancy or projected returns are maintained and published by Digital Landlord and may change over time.

The challenge

Digital Landlord needed to explain complex property and partnership models to investors in Nigeria and abroad. The experience had to connect ambitious developments, financial projections, construction progress and a long-term operating model without reducing the proposition to a conventional property listing website.

What DigitalTouch built

DigitalTouch delivered the public-facing digital experience for Digital Landlord. The platform organizes investment projects, portfolio models, development information, funding progress, downloadable materials, company history and editorial content into a coherent journey for prospective buyers and partners.

Technical approach

The experience was structured as a content- and data-rich product platform, using reusable project presentations, clear financial information hierarchy and responsive layouts. The underlying technology stack is intentionally not listed because it has not yet been confirmed from the project record.
